I was addressing a few long over due tasks i have on my list of to dos.
Does anyone per chance have an Excel spreadsheet format that i can use to track my bullion purchases/sales/monthly market values etc handy. If you do that would be great and i would love a copy.
Also do you have a spread sheet specifically for SMSF transactions, again this would save me a lot of work.
I will forward on an ounce of Silver to the best spread sheet provider with my compliments.
    Thanks guys
    Cheers

I highly recommend Haveblues SilverLog. Shiny new Version 4 is here and it's only a measly $14.99 :)
Been using it since I started stacking, by far the easiest way to keep track of everything.

I second that Redback - I was first cab off the rank with haveblue's paid version of his spreadsheet - it's worth the money to take away the headache of setting up formulae.

You'll see your gains/losses in green or red ... which right now is a little disconcerting (so much red!).

I have set up quite a thorough spreadsheet that auto populates prices and value I'm happy to share.

Mine automatically updates prices every minute and allows you track your sales and total costs live.

Does it keep track of your inventory, whereby you can upload a spreadsheet of your purchases and sales of any given month?

I haven't refreshed the data from the PM website since March, things are looking mighty fine on mine! :D

I have just the one sheet for everything but you can create seperate ones for each month if needs be.

It keeps track of ounces bought and sold, prices paid, spot price at the time, who you bought from and pretty much any other details you may need. I don't have an SMSF so no idea of the requirements for this kind of thing but easy enough to tweak if it isn't to the accountants liking. Which it should be as it's just a whole bunch of numbers methodically organized and they love that stuff.
