Yes indeed, nice collection fltacoma; thanks for sharing some fantastic images. You take very good photos. :)

Don't forget the coloured snakes as well, they have a low mintage; some people love them, others don't collect them but the mintage is quite low for the coloured bullion coins.

Bullion Bourse is a site sposor of Silver Stackers and sells the coloured snakes, but even if you aren't interested in the coloured coins, there's some good viewing on BB's site. ;)

Thank you for the kind words! I cant wait till the horse comes out lol. If I had $10k laying around I would pick up a 10 kilo for sure! I was just only going to collect the bullion coins, but the colored and guilded coins look better and better by the day! What have I gotten myself into :D

On a side note, those prices for the 1 oz roll of colored snakes would make a good investment........

Holdfast, is there a website that lists the end of year mintages for the colored, and guilded lunar coins and koalas?

Nice, I have the same thing with the Dragons from last year. Though I also put together a set of the coloured coins and proofs as well (as many as I could get hold of anyway).

I was looking at getting a display box made up so that I could keep them all together, now I have the Kilo dragon I will revisit the idea.

Have you got anything planned for the set?

Nice collection! It's a good year for many stackers / collectors to buy bullion and coins.

    Sure! :)

    Here's a link to Perth's collector coins.
    http://www.perthmint.com.au/numismatic-mintages.aspx

Lets take an example...say the 2011 coloured rabbit.

Here's a link to the Bunny page.
    http://www.perthmint.com.au//documents/2011_Perth_Mint_Numismatic_Coins_2012_sales_31-12-2012.pdf

Scroll down to page 4 of 7, you'll see the title "The Australian Lunar Coloured Coins - Series Two*"

You'll also see the gilded koala's on the same page.

    Cheers

Not to mention the premium is crazy on those things. You would think otherwise because of its size but nooooo..........

I hope so, I ordered a three coin proof set from my local post office and they got me a type set with four coins in it. Close enough.

I am not a fan of coloured coins but quite a few people appear to like them so they might catch on.
