    Hi guys,

So I have been contemplating the idea of buying some 1oz gold pandas.
I've had a look around at the classic dealers but could not find anyone selling these (on BB had a couple of old pandas).
I haven't yet been in touch with our site sponsors as I wanted to have a browse and check prices.

    Any good & reputable recommendations?

    Cheers

1oz Gold Pandas... not easy (or cheap) to find... Ebay is a good source, especially for graded Pandas.

Some items are sold out on the first day during the coin show at Singapore Panda America booth ....

I do not think they are seriously overpriced as claimed .

If you comparing them with bullion then you will think they are seriously overpriced.
Please use numis side to see the MCC, from your comments I see you are bias to bullions...

But please check the market price of them before saying so. I saw many good deals for MCC.

Hi bro, glad to see you having a good time over here in silver stackers.

At your comments, I decided to do some digging and found Panda Amercia's price for 1oz gold bullion pandas to be comparable or even cheaper than some of the online retailers. Perhaps you can enlighten the good people here on how you arrive at Panda Amercia overpricing their gold bullion pandas? Good for us to learn also.

    Many thanks in advance. Cheers.

    Absolutely
Bullion coins with a bit of a premium on top of the price of a regular coin... That's the whole idea isn't it?
Buy a coin that's a bit over bullion in price and that should appreciate over time, gaining a premium

Will go have a look on Panda America, haven't had a chance to take a good look yet.
Any other Aussie retailers? Possible to buy from the (chinese) mint?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Panda America lists their 1oz 2013 Gold Bullion Panda for USD 1760.
    http://www.pandaamerica.com/details.asp?item=10761&grp=1&categ=1

According to TaxFreeGoldUK, they list theirs for 1016 pounds (~USD1566).

According to APMEX, they list theirs for USD1518

I do not think it is possible to buy direct from the mint but perhaps our panda king Yennus to reconfirm since he is staying in the land of Panda

Oh I see. Then I guess the prices are quite competitive. Funny how their website states otherwise. Guess if you call them you get a discount?
