If the silver is an aged collectible item or antique that is another thing but you are not expecting that quality in the latest LCD monitor for example.
Looked like the bar was used to kill a terrorist. Come on mate, you can't really compare to cast bar. PAMP Suisse is an exquisite and artistic product. Post me the latest and worst purchase of your Suisse minted bar and I am sure it's good enough for me to pay you.
I think they are collectables now! Any of those bars of that circa that was resold to ABC Sydney and Ainslie would have been instantly consigned to the smelter. They did a lot of damage to their reputation selling crap bars just to make a buck. You can see the direction the Perth Mint is headed as well. Their earlier bars was of a much higher quality than the crap they are pushing out now. Just spending an extra minute on each bar getting it right would preserve the reputation that past refiners built but that wouldn't suit the bean counters.
Haha. I know. The bar in the pic is the OP's. I thought I could make him paranoid but then I realised the irony.
For your viewing pleasure- "Old Ted" from Perth. He has had a hard life but still attracts a premium, thats why I only handle him with gloves.
Marsi what happened to that bar. Looks like it had went to hell and back. Wow. Its still alive. Worst bar I ve seen .
Bought it off ebay like that, seller said somebody battered the life out of it and the lost premium will be deducted from their pockt money or something like that from memory. I dropped it on the concrete when i weighed it, couldn't see any difference.
