They are out of stock for their online inventory of 1kg bars aswell, wonder what their over the counter stock is like...
Asked at the Mint counter earlier today about 10oz bars and kilos, and was told there was plenty but only for OTC sales. They were expecting another big lunch time rush and looked like all hands were on deck.
Amazing how our sponsors have web sites that work well! Well done GS, BB, BM, BL and the rest of you guys who actually have a business that meets customer demand. Perth's support for their on-line customers is pathetic! Harsh words??? I don't think so; Perth's web site has had problems since before September 2011, management promised to fix their system but they haven't! Perth expect their customers to sit on the end of a phone line for an hour like some backward hill-billy setup using jam tins and string to communicate. Epic fail for customer service....excellent avoidance at selling metal! Commonly called a cluster- F at Perth. H
All bars, Gold and Silver, at Perth mint currently with status unavailable.... Silverprice is still dropping of course Natural behaviour of a market
I just checked and they have spot at AUD $22.92 and the sell prices are: 10oz AUD 250.20 1kg AUD 770.90 100ozAUD 2,373.00 Thats spot +$2.10 an oz on the 10oz bar......seem pretty steep to me ???
I have to back that up. Completed a transaction with AEL last week and it was probably the best and smoothest transaction I have completed on SS. Agreed terms (fast correspondence), organised and paid for goods, he packed and sent plat express and I had the metal in my hand the next day. Truely great service - thanks again Steve
Please ignore my newbieness but Why dose anyone buy them anyway? They dont have 'silver' marked on them.... For me if its not marked what it is it may aswell be 10oz of shiney lead! Im stuck with the Sydney ABC bars, their cheaper anyway.
I have some 20kg shiny lead bars that I can stencil 'SILVER' onto if you are interested. Going at $1 under silver spot price. BARGAIN, it has silver marked on it so it must be good
