I'd like to back this up too, I've been warning all my buyers not to transfer anything to BTC-E and have stopped using it myself. The support page is flooded with people having been scammed, apparently withdrawls (even in BTC) aren't getting processed either. Seems like the Russians may be running a ponzi scheme of sorts there with the account pool, and the plunge has caught them with their pants down.

But the fact is the tech is here and the genie isn't going back into the bottle.
