Does the market care for such things? I thought the prices we see now is mainly determined by the paper prices. So what if it costs more to extract/refine/mint it. Just means less profits for the miners I think.

PMs must be the only investment where a small but devoted group of investors not only welcome lower prices, but actively plan on buying more.

That kind of mentality could bring you undone if/when there is metal mania price rise, and then a subsequent drop.

^^^ same... But I think of how much $'s I've kept by buying silver and not spending it on some consumeristic crap/nights out. So even if it drops further, I'm technically still ahead ;)

Can someone write a script for SS that blocks the "Silver to $1" threads and the spot chart up top? Now that'd be a useful tool!

Gold could hit $1250 on the charts - but try and buy some.

    As did I.

    And then it was $42.

And then it went a little higher.

And then it dropped and dropped and never stopped!

Bought yesterday a little bit when the spot was 27.4
Our currency lost 1% vs USD in two days - supporting long side.

Nobody here knows what the price is going to do over the coming weeks/months, it's all 100% speculation.
