If you purchase the Hedgehog coin from eurocollections last year, then definitely you would have received a private email to purchase the coin. Previous buyers had a 2 day window to buy the coin online or over the phone.

On their list as a previous buyer or a newbie? My understanding from the email I got was that ALL previous buyers, whether it was the hedgehog, owl, wolverine, got an email for the argali, and as silverbar said, you had 2 days to order before it was offered to everyone. I know there is an element of marketing hype involved but I believe them when they say they didn't have many available, these seem to be one of the hottest coin series' on the planet and my guess is the mintage is scattered pretty thin amongst worldwide distributors, maybe they just didn't have any left over after the previous buyers got theirs?

I bought the owl & hedgehog from them, and I didn't get any email :(
I rang them up about the argali and was told that I'm in the list. But now seems like I'm not.. oh well..

Dunno what to say about that then, you didn't change your email address since then? Check your junk folder? A glitch perhaps?

I only bought the hedgehog and I got an email, would have thought those who bought more would definitely get one :|

    What happened is this:

An email was sent out to previous buyers of the series who purchased through them AND who had called beforehand inquiring about the Argali AND asked to be on the waiting list AND confirmed that their email was correct. For example, the first time I called them(I called like 5 times over a month) I asked if they were pre selling the coin. Toni asked if I had purchased a previous coin in the series. I said yes. She said that they would be preselling but were still trying to source coins. Until then, she said she would put me on a waiting list and contact me when it was time. I asked how they would contact me, she said by email. I asked what email they had me listed as and she said ********@*****.eu and I corrected her and said that it was @.com. She fixed it and said they'd contact me. I called four times again after that, the second time just to make sure the email that was read off was indeed the correct one.

By the time I got that email, Toni knew exactly who I was.

    Diablo? Why the jealousy?
They are gorgeous pieces. You never sold a coin in your life that you loved?
I think when you mention "pump and dump" you're talking the stock market pal. I think you're confused. :)

I'm not jealous at all, just stating the obvious. And to answer your question, nope, I've never sold a coin I love even if I have multiples.

And I'm never confused, we all know your marketing ploy or whatever you want to call it. BTW, I have multiples of all the Mongolia coins, so it doesn't really hurt me when you "pump" them...

I never had a coin that I considered "a georgeous museum piece", that "I loved more than any Picasso", and that I considered "one of my babies", that I'd never sell.

    Back for some more ramping?

I guess some people just need a life. When someone is consumed with EVERY WORD from almost a year ago, They really need to get a life. Diablo, What do you mean " stating the obvious"? Who cares whether you sold or didn't sell or how many coins you have? A "marketing ploy"? Care to back that up?? "It doesn't really hurt you when i pump"? You need to get a job and get out of the house more often.
wrcmad? You been sitting at your computer 24/7/365 memorizing everything i say? ha. Unreal. Both you guys need to open up a hot dog stand and sell hot dogs and potato kinishes...

    Nope.
12 months ago you were conspicuous by your overly enthusiastic gushing then dumping.
Since then you have ben conspicuous by your absence.
It doesn't take rocket scientist to figure out why you are back.

    Hahah, why so defensive?

"Who cares how many I have?" You do!

I don't need to leave the house because my hot dog stands are doing well, you wouldn't believe how much money there is in "hot dogs and potato kinishes". :) :p. I just sit back and stare at my computer all and memorize every word you post on this forum, life is great. Keep up the good work joe, you make our coins worth more :p

You don't like what I say, Put me on ignore. You must have a pretty boring life to be consumed with every word i say. Just hit the ignore button. You have no idea what you're talking about to begin with. Why do you care what i say anyway. I pay no attention to what you say. So do the same, Or hit i-g-n-o-r-e..
