hey, not sure if this is the right spot to post this.. but it seems to fit better than anywhere else.. Does anyone know where to find a list of uncirculated commemorative coins produced by the Royal Australian Mint? I'm looking for something in particular and google is being of no assistance thank you. Daniel
I am after coins of australian nobel prize winners, I PM website says that the only faces that can be put on coins are royalty and nobel prize winners.. but i can't actually find any coins.. just that they can make them...
No idea, none spring to mind though, I know of a few but none by RAM. Wikipaedia a list of them and do a google image search , a bit time consuming though.
http://www.australian-threepence.co...lian-dollar-coins-henry-parkes-centenary.html Henry Parkes did not have a noble prize? Or is he royalty? What about Dame Edna Everidge on a 50c coin? http://www.australian-threepence.co...an-20c-coins-sir-donald-bradman-19082001.html Don Bradman? Link may lead to more info on other coins. Good luck

1998 $1 Uncirculated Coin "Howard Florey 1898 - 1968." The coins were issued to celebrate the centenary of the birth of Howard Florey. released by RAM as part of mintmark series. No actual Australian Nobel Prize series exists.
50 cent coins I often find that my dealer buys off me and what I get: Any 2001 State coin: $2 1991 Rams head: $4 2005 War memorial with blob error near foot: $5 1988 bicentenial: $3 Thats it really, good markups though that I convert to bullion discounts.
Albert Einstein has appeared on several different coins, a quick Google Images search showed 6 different coins with his face on them. I guess you could do the same for other prize winners.
The best and easiest way for you to account for every single coin and thingy the Royal Australian mint produces in all years back to 2000 is in its annual report. www.ramint.gov.au/about/compliance/annual_reports.cfm mintage figures are down near the bottom.
