Question regarding Perth mint bullion coins
We have Koala, Kookaburra and the Lunar series, regarding popularity,
    sizes, years and mintages.
It is open question what you reckon on them. Which one better as investment vehicles?
Imho is a challenge question as to see opinions as which one would drive better all comes
from the same source. ie pm

If your purchase is strictly for investment wouldnt 10oz bars be a better option?

I have bought a few various coins but wish i had just saved the cash for 10oz bars instead.

Yes and no . If silver goes up not matter what forms it comes in still good investment especially 10 oz bars.
I m talking about perth mint bullion coins. ( 1/2 oz to 10 kg ). Koala vs Kook vs Lunar series.
Which is better performance as in size vs mintage vs popularity.
Surely one of these is much preferable. Opinions please.

Just from what I have seen have to agree with the others and say lunar but the 1oz in particular. By far the most popular, a good premium and they seem to go quick. That being said every now and then there seems to be a flurry of kook madness.

I think anyone who loaded up of $31-$32 kook re-strikes is going to do mighty fine in a relatively short amount of time.

the re mints are starting to dry up and premiums are on the rise.
Goldstackers and BB were onto this early, bagging the remainder of the 91 kooks - that's going to turn into a good bit of business for whoever bought them

Agree with Holdfast but you need to pick years when sales were low like 2008. This year may be a repeat of 2008 ? Does Anyone have estimates of snake sales so far ?

^^^^Nothing up-to-date Ronnie... as in estimates... just sales as you probably know.

    10oz - 10,844
    5oz - 11,036
    2oz - 31,501
