    I recently tried an experiement to sell an item with exorbitant shipping costs but with a $1 'buy it now' listing.
    Heres the message i got

    It appears that eBay caught onto that loophole of higher shipping costs as a way around ebay final valuation fees.
    This was on ebay au. However, this still may work on auction style items, to which i have not yet tried.

    but it is true, when your item is in the UK, and take a cab cost 35 pounds to go to the post office just to go in and post, not including the actual postage yet.

    Well actually, I think I'd be pretty pi$$ed off if I was watching an 'active' auction,
    hoping that it might, just maybe, "fly under the radar", and someone posted a link to it here before the end time... Just sayin'..............

    In any case, it ain't no "bargain" until the auction has ended...


    BIN's are whole 'nother kettle o' mackerels of course... ;)
