No answers on the other thread, so am posting here. These are nice bars but several fell out of plastic and they have rough bits along the sides on several. I have contacted Scottsdale re the mint guard security, but found this pic on Norwegian site http://www.silverinvest.no/catalog/product/gallery/image/401/id/128/ Any thoughts on what this image is? Thanks
Same pic as I put up on the other thread Well, the last third of it anyway. Looks like the word 'valid' to me...
Yes Guv'nor So what does the MintGuard say?
Goldstacker and SGB have some on sale. I got some from SGB Cant wait till I get mine, somewhere in the post system.
You win the chance to change your avatar back, and my thanks for answering.(However, I had suggested it said valid on the other thread already)
Man thats a good looking bar. Please let me know if anyone finds a place to buy these where the shipping to US does not supersede the price of the bar. thanks!
Scottsdale told me that we'll be able to buy these direct from them. They were supposed to be available at the same time for a worldwide launch. I just sent an email complaining about it not being on their site for us.
I am a big Scottsdale fan and was pretty excited when these were coming up but the more I look at them the more I find little things I don't quite like as much as other 1oz bars and rounds. I prefer the standard Omnia and bar from Scottsdale. However, it is nice to see that they are putting their new mint and resources to good use.
+1 on the Omnia they are beautiful. Im not as happy with the "The One" 1oz bars. Im hoping this bar proves to be nicer than "The One"
Do you prefer 1oz bars to 1oz rounds? I was thinking of mixing it up with some 1oz bars but hadn't considered them until recently. I am very picky when it comes to the look of bullion. I know it's just spot/melt value in the end but if I have some I might as well enjoy looking at it.
I have to pick up another bar, only because the one I have has some rough edges as if it didnt come out of the cast very well. Between the "The One" bar and the "Ominia" round, I would definitely go with the Ominia round, a better design IMO. Response I received this evening from Scottsdale directly regarding the $2 Niue coin "Steve, We hope to launch this coin in about 30 days in the USA after we get our production caught up. If you're signed up for our newsletter you'll receive notice when they are available. Thanks for your interest."
