Ops. Sorry not sure where Dragon came from in my title. If I could correct it I would. It is the proof version per the decription. Its cheaper than the Perth Mint price...so thats a good price. Most dealers sell above the Perth Price. The silver contant is just a small part of the equation in developing a finely minted coin.

If you can buy a "real" 5oz silver Proof Dragon coin, you will own, what I believe to be one of the most unique coins ever produced by The Perth Mint.

The 5oz Lunar Dragon (Proof) is the first 5oz lunar proof coin "ever" to be produced by Perth and it's the first in the series 2 lunars.

I believe the 5oz proof dragon coin is a sleeper.

Sure, it's expensive but.... only 5,000 were made and the design is loved world wide.

5oz coins are becoming very popular.

Only 36 x 5oz proof dragons available from Perth

    Maybe...

But, PM can send for free as from 400 aud (300?).

What i am saying is that you see here the result of what PM is doing. A hype, a high price, a limited mintage, and then...

I mean, this is the dragon! Not the snake.

Same with privy's. Privy snake now at 33,xx eu and dragon privy: 30,xx eu. That is just hype!

Giving numismatic coins in packages is an outrage and says it all.

Ummm the description says 'proof quality' that type of wording is open to interpratation. It does not say in the description that is is a proof strike, i'd stay away from a seller who is so vauge in their descriptions, especially when they state bullion in the title and something else in the fine print, but thats just me I'm the suspicious type. :p
