Just watched the state of the union address & obama was saying the minimum wage would rise to $9 per hour Half the troops home by 2014 The cyber crime bill etc Didnt have much to say about debt unless i missed it ( i missed the first part ) Some incentives for business & manufacturers sounds like the push is on to bring manufacturing back to the US $9 an hour is still a bit low no wonder theres so much crime over there

$9 is quite a bit, prices in the US are very low, I don't know where this talk of inflation comes from. I go from Canada to do grocery shopping in the US, I get about 50% savings by buying across the border. If you live in a smaller town, $9/hour is more than enough.

Minimum wage laws are a good way to price young people out of employment, raising youth unemployment. Basic economics.
