I find Mr Wonderful always entertaining on Dragons Den and Shark Tank. Interesting to hear his take on gold.
I really like his strategy RE gold as a percentage of his wealth in $. As the price of gold goes up he sells into it keep his percentage stable and visa versa.
Yeah, I really liked that idea too. You could take it all the way and set some rules for your own wealth portfolio. Eg. Say you want 20% of your wealth in gold, 20% in silver, 30% in stocks and 30% in property. (just an example - don't jump on me for the choices or values! ) Then as those percentages start changing you sell into the rises, and buy into the drops to get the percentages back the way they should be. Gold rises, Silver falls - you sell into the gold, and buy silver with it. It sounds like a pretty good hedge and method for wealth preservation and protection.
5% is crazy - I am sure he holds a lot more in cash and soon he will find out that cash is no longer king. Gosh he is addicted to cash, get a life.
Can't stand this douche bag!!! Can someone give me a quick run down of what he says, I don't think I can watch him for 19 minutes without throwing my iPad at the wall
Well he says he only buys productive assets that bring in cash dividends and that anything else is speculation... then says he holds gold. he says he doesn't like commodities... he'd rather own cooper mine shares or oil pipeline shares and then tells a tale about how he berrates gold miners on how he owns gold rather than their shares... etc i think he's schizo
Guys like this, really get on my goat..It's like he is preaching to those that already have vast amounts of assets, cash,RE, gold , silver and whatever. It seems like all these guys agree on one thing you will never make it to their level by having a job. It seems like only 1% make it to the big time and when you get there. the most important thing to do, is to preserve your wealth. Spread your wealth and you will never get completely wiped out. When you have heaps of money/assets it is easy to increase your wealth but how to get that wealth in the first place, that is the ???? Regards Errol 43
5% for him is still $50,000,000. He's doing his fair share of stacking! (and hugging it at night as he says)
