    200.00 Really how long would that last after you deduct video games from it ? In reality it is a little bonus on top of the welfare check the family is receiving. Bread and circuses all round.

    Why change it into pieces of paper with the Queen's head on and save them?
    Just put the coin under the bed. Buy games with your paper round money.

    I suggest he sells on SS or on eBay.
    The auction house that valued it at 200 is robbing this youngster.

    Spot for gold at Friday close would value the gold content of a full sovereign at 248.
    He would easily get spot price from many bullion dealers.
