    Hi guys

Just started stacking and most of my stack is going to be stored at my Dads business safe.

Anyway, I will keep less than 20oz at home (mostly 1oz bars) Just wondering what the best way to wrap them up are? just some cloth or some money bags from the bank?

    Cheers

Just stack em up, no need to wrap em up :) unless you think they really need to be protected, in the end silver is silver and a little toning or wear looks good sometimes..

Just go and buy those airtight container, and chuck in a few of those dissecant gel. Or maybe get one of those metal petty cash. :D

The way I do it is stack small amounts all around the house. That way it's like an easter egg hunt for the burglar, which gives me more time to catch in the act.

An added bonus is occasionally finding them yourself 'Oh, I forgot I put those there!'
Kind of like finding a tenner in your pocket when you go to wash your jeans. Only better.

Put them in a glass jar and make sure the air in it is dry when closing.
The place the jar somewhere and try to remember it.

For small amounts like that I swallow them, you can never be too careful.

Or you can just stick them in a Glad Bag ziplock sandwich bag, it will keep them fresh but they don't stack too well.

    Goodaye :)

Have you looked at the variety of plastic ammo boxes that are used for reloading?

Some of the boxes allow you to take out the partition that holds the ammo and in doing so you can stack your 1oz bars in the box.

Plastic ammo boxes are very sturdy and there's a huge range of colours and sizes.

Not only that, when you sell your silver, you'll have a ammo box for reloading or a great box for some fishing tackle. :)

    A few examples:

Ammo box isnt a bad idea except that anyone who is likely to break into your home would probably recognise an ammo box (stereotype i know) if they found it. Cash, Jewellery, Guns & Ammo are top of any thieves list... Better off with a fishing tackle box full of rusty hooks and kept in the garage. Unless your thief is a fisherman....

A fisherman thief, the worst kind of thief.

Be creative with your hiding, redirect, obfuscate, use booby traps, leave a $50 note on the table, an ied under you fishing tackle box and your bullion somewhere else........

ok maybe the ied is a bad idea, but you get the point :)
