    I think I have have a problem :)

I can only buy Umicore 100g bars, 500g bars, Silver Eagles and Britannia's.

Every time I think about buying something else I bottle it at the last minute.

So who else likes everything to be the same or am I just a bit strange :D

    I regret any variance :)

I'd rather stick to max 5 specific bullion products instead of buying anything and everything including lots of foreign coins.

Less variance, easier to keep track of, easier for beneficiaries to handle if something happens.

    "Here's you change, Sir. $25"

"Keep the $20 note. Don't overcomplicate it. I'll take five $5 notes."

I'm basically opposite to you guys,. All most all of my stuff is different, The only multiples I have are 3 x 1oz PM S2 LS & 5 x 1/2oz PM S2 LD and a few maples the rest is singles. i love my variety :D

Edit: I do have many multiples of pre-decimal and round 50's. I'm not really too keen on un pure silver, but I can't stop buying it, it's just so cheap :)

I'm like the OP too. I stick to really just a couple of products for gold (PM certicards, roos) and a couple for silver (kooks, lunars, ASEs). Makes managing the stack simpler. I also stick to a handful of sizes/denominations.

Might add some PAMP eventually but the premiums are just too high when you look at them next to Perth Mint bars.

I have some kooks and to me they look exactly the same as a 1 oz ASE and the same as a 1 oz bar and the same as 2 1/2 oz dragons they all look like silver just different meaningless pictures on them.

Sure it can be beautiful to look at, all silver is pretty but its still just silver and a good way to save money. I have no emotional attachment to any of the coins once you do you end up paying too much instead of just buying whatever is cheapest

I have a bit of everything, junk coins (Australian and foreign), 999 coins, 999 rounds and 999 bars, all of various sizes.

I would love to open the cupboard up and see a gleaming silvery tower of bars, all the same. A chest full of junk silver is just as easy on the eye though.

I get silver when it is cheap and I don't argue about what form it is in, I would also like to be able to sell to people in the future, the more different types I have the wider my potential market.

At first, I got a bit of this and a bit of that...but now I see it's all the same and would've been better off just picking one thing and sticking with it.

I'd probably trade my kooks and lunars for ASEs or bars if it didn't mean getting totally screwed over on lost premiums.

Sell off your kooks and lunars in small lots and you shouldn't lose out on the premiums - you should get the premiums back when you sell (provided you sell to other individuals, not back to dealers, who generally only buy at spot)...

Trust me, when SHTF, you ain't gonna care what shape it is, just what colour it is, and you gonna be thankful you got it :)

I will happily admit, though, that I'm starting to limit what I buy - I'm sticking to Perth Mint or other local stuff, and trying to not have too odd an assortment of items.
