    I predict that soon:

Debt forgiveness for countries will be put on the table.

Official (from some source) disclosure of the existence of friendly and benevolent extraterrestrials.

Revelation of ongoing ritualized child abuse, in a Religious HQ in Rome.

Mass revelation that financial system is corrupt and only causes misery and hardship. Only benefits the few and that money (with no backing) is worthless.

Any and all of these would lead to widespread dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs.
Which would tend to attract investment in real Gold and Silver.
    Interesting times ahead....

It's coming...but nobody knows exactly when.
Like a thief in the night....

.... I'm just as bullish on silver as Yip, doesn't make me think that silver will permanently go up (permabull)

When would a permabull sell if they think it will always go up?

Despite all the doom and gloom predictions I can safely say that 2012 has been my best year ever financially. I predict that 2013 will be equally as good.

I could safely say that the last 5 years since the start of the GFC has been more financially rewarding than the 5 year period pre GFC.

Simply making the point that there is opportunity in every situation.

I agree with the doom and gloom predictions but the time to panic was 6 years ago. I predict doom and gloom for those not already prepared and great opportunity for those who are.

I considered this to be about the most accurate effort that quotes numbers and predicted the early part of year slump followed by recovery by years end. The Gold predictions are solid efforts. To that end, well done Chillidog.

Downside though is that his predictions on Silver are more than 10% out both on the bottom and end of year figure.

I think Stellaconcepts called it well, he said this year silver wouldn't do much, but 2013 would be a big year if I remember correctly. Mick

Many posters predicted scenarios that are yet to play out which is why they got it wrong.

Not the outcome, just the timing.

I think Stella got the timing correct, as far as the nebulous "quiet 2012" part of the prediction goes.
