...sorry about that. I wanted to post the image, but I'm new to the platform of this forum.

So it's a Perth Mint silver coin, 1 oz, special edition. "Only" 5,000 will be released and costs 90 US $, but buy back price is a mere 48 $.

What potential does this have if I invest? I see eBay already has some selling at >200 US $.

What do you know about this coin?

It is part of the 9 coin Chinese set (mintage 20, 000) or the 10 coin Australia set (not sure, another 10, 000?), plus might be one of the ANDA releases - so way more than 5000 released. With the current fiasco with Perth Mint, it will be a long long time before you would even get your money back -if ever. Beautiful coins (I have 2 x Chinese sets), but hard to sell at any more than spot.

It can also be bought separately...

Various (multiple) sources claim 5,000 pieces.

But I guess it's a huge mintage... so this one might not be worth a fortune, not even 10 years later... unless silver goes to the sky in terms of price...

That was a " Downies " release ,they had all of them & held out for top dollar & than slowly released by them ;)
So don't expect to see that again , I know every time a new released is announced the newbies go
This could be the next redback
