This is about as good as the explanation you gave us for selling 1oz gold Maples to yourself with an extra healthy premium in order to increase your credibility here.

Perhaps you or one of your alias's should become a Silver Stacker. You can learn much by doing so.

    Now getting into the gutter.....

Knowledge is power but name & shame can get dirty.

This thread is going off topic.

Just had an update from the other member. I'm advised that the transaction has been concluded earlier today with coins and monies received in full.

Shit happens - I'm not at liberty to disclose why, but sometimes there are some tragically genuine circumstances that result in people not logging onto the forum for a week.

    That is all.

Sorry GP but you only got half the story, the first part of this deal was a misunderstanding and was resloved and I posted to that effect, what happened today was in no way related to the first problem with this transaction.
The issue is that the seller jerked me around for a second time as they intended to provide HALF a refund as they thought that was FAIR while they sorted out a banking issue.
Too many excusses and very little intertey from the seller who has tugged at your heart strings with a story of some tradgey but effectivley pulled the wool over your eyes.
I will not name on a public fourm but you know who you are.

I do not like the idea of a public naming, however I have left the appropriate feedback so that any other member who does their own due diligence and checks feedback befor trading may be forwarned. I belive that is why we have the feedback system and that is how it should be used. I fully expect to receive a negative feedback in retaliation but trust that the community will see it for what it is.

Can you confirm that the transaction has been concluded?

In all fairness this entire thread has only been half the story.

I'll save you all the trouble and name myself!
I am the seller in question & I did my utmost to rectify the situation given the circumstances.
I did not receive delivery of the coins until today & upon receiving them, I made special effort to deposit the refund over the counter so the funds were available immediately.
NOTE TO BUYER: I wasn't aware you could leave two lots of feedback on the same trade & will be contacting site admin regarding the matter.

Yes, refund was made in full including postage both ways.
I don't see how I could've satisfied this buyer under any circumstances.

Something tells me this particular buyer isn't the forgiving type!
I thought the Chinese Whispers had gone on long enough and it better to be open, honest and frank than be silent.
I did the right thing: At the time I offered part refund, the I'd still not taken delivery of the coins & did so as a gesture of good faith.
Once I'd taken delivery of the the coins, refund was provided & I'd have thought the buyer would've updated the thread to that effect.
Instead I had to involve site admin regarding what in the grand scheme of things is a very minor issue.
I'll publicly apologize here & now for any inconvenience caused.
I don't know any seller that would provide a full refund prior to receiving the goods unless they had a previous trading relationship with the buyer (bare in mind I'm relatively new to the forum & am not yet clued up on who's trustworthy & who's not).
There are other members in this same thread that I dealt with over the same (difficult) period & I was able to ensure each was 100% satisfied with their purchase, regardless of cost &/or time.
There are some people on this forum, as in this world that one will never be able to satisfy no matter how hard one tries & I'm chalking this one up to being one of those cases.
