I think you will find most of what your looking for at the top of your screen in the calculators link
Have a look at anything pre 1939 if there is a lot of detail in these coins it may pay to get an opinion on value. Would need pics though. Just take a general overview picture top view of those ones. Showing the Kings head. A quick look will tell if anything is worthwhile. The rest I don't think are anything rare, but a picture just in case. Who knows they could all be proofs or UNC so if they look in good condition send a pic first
Thx for the help boys, i like the fact that ive just found out my grandmother used to be a stacker, lol. She told my mother hang onto these coins they will be worth something oneday, who woulda thought Thanks for all the help, much appreciated
Noticing a few new zealand coins in the collection, are these the same silver content as the australian coins IE have a round 1966 50 cent new zealand coin as well as some new zealand florins etc Also can u clean copper pennies with coke??? If you can does this also work for the silver coins?? Noob questions i no
new zealand 50 cent has no silver, also new zealand florins would be 50% up until 1947. they started phasing out before australia.
The Farthings and 67 Shilling are English. Condition matters Australian coin are the ones to collect for profit, no other country has the same level of collectors or average price for say a 1960's set or proofs. at least 4 times higher price than any other countries. Its the same right through the years. Australia Rocks. Any sub 1920 Australian coin is worth good money regardless of denomination. But a buggered one is perhaps $5 if your lucky. a Gem UNC coin and how you sell it can be worth thousands. You have about $45 worth of silver content and while no rare years, you may have errors. so worth checking every coin. upsets, planchet errors, cuds, coins that look different to normal can be worth a small fortune. 1901-1951 Florin ?? has both dates on coin Its a Jubilee Florin, 50 years of Federation 2 million minted
