I agree with your point that market demand for this round is strong however the opinions of thoes in the potential secondary market are valuble when considering an investment in any silver that carries a preimum. The demand for these rounds seams strongly driven by thoes who 'get the larger message' behind the design. However the desirability and the ability to on sell the rounds in the secondary market will be largley established by how wide the appeal and demand is for these rounds based on the design alone; minus the 'inside message'. It will be interesting to see if the the design is enough to carry the preimum to the larger secondary market.
Shall have to watch and see as I have blown my spare fiat for this month already. (if only i had backed a winner yesterday  )

The demand is driven largely by the fact too many people listen to permabull commentators with delusional forecasts :p
You have guys involved in this project that were preaching +$50 silver by December and yet they're SELLING the very stuff they talk up.

Aussies taking these over kooks? baffles my mind
    I'll shut up now.

Are you suggesting that you think a kook will appreciate more than this 50,000 mintage round?

I'm just saying it's a cheap and crude round disguised as something different by certain commentators. A skull with a top hat only appeals to a tiny audience, mainly fans of a certain hack commentator and a rich hypocrite.
"walk away from the banking system by buying my coins with your visa or mastercard"

The Perth mint may be pushing out their fair share of crap but you cannot fault their quality. After the restrikes are sold out returns on kooks will be very nice indeed, and very easy to sell as they are recognized worldwide for good reason.
If you like the round good on ya, not against people buying into something they like or believe in. I just don't get it, mainly because I think those involved are sharks.

EDIT: and by those involved I mean brotherjohn and duane, not anyone who is selling/buying them here.

The first sale on eBay is usually the most over blown, give it a few more weeks when the flippers start dumping then you can judge the ave price these rounds will go for.

They do look nice but i'm not sure what they'll sell for after reading about the coin from others. Many people are complaining that these are poorly made. There are milky spots (is that what they are called? i'm new to stacking) on the coins, others have a yellow tint in them. i've also seen a few people complaining about having chips and dents in their coins. From what i've noticed, everyone that ordered 1 or 2 coins have nice looking coins and the people who ordered 10+ have the poorly made coins. When it comes to the quality of the coin, according to everyone that has one, the premium is just too high. I ordered 1 coin, and I hope mine looks decent.
