Bullion Bourse?? Are they reliable? Hi guys, this is my first post on here(been in the shadows for a few weeks). I've recently decided to take up silver stacking as a hobby, my goal is 1000oz in coins and bars over the next couple of years. Yes, I have read the 'introduction' to silver type post on here a while ago. My initial purchases have mainly been from eBay and once from the Perth mint. Basically, I'm now looking to start making 'bigger' purchases and I'm looking at goldstackers in Melbourne for face to face and Bullion Bourse on the net. So I'm just asking for any positive/negative feedback on transactions from you guys
hi, i already made 6 orders to bullionbourse and for me, everything is all right : good communication, package receive in 10 days (australia to france). good transactions.
Generally if a dealer is accepted on here as a site sponsor, they are good to do business with. No problems recommending Ben, Tim and the gang at Bullion Bourse. Glad to hear you're considering Gold Stackers as well for your in-person purchases - pop in and visit our office one day.
+ 1 for Bullion Bourse. I have used them for my 'larger purchaces' (which are really piddley compared to what others mean by large) and found them to be great. It can be nerve racking handing over money to 'a guy on the net' so I get you wanting a little reasurance. And one of the best things I found about BB was that when you have a stupid question about something that they have most likley been asked a hundred times befor by other stackers their response is always prompt and freindly. Happy stacking.
I ahve made a couple of orders off BB and they have been easy to deal with. IM waiting for sub $30 silver to start buying again though
It is also wise to use reputable dealers that is part of the Perth Mint Distributor network. The problem with places like eBay is that you just don't know the origins of your PM. Some of the bigger sizes has a big chance of being a counterfeit. But with BB and with GS you are rest assured you are buying the actual PM.
I reckon you would be safe buying any Perth Mint products from any Silver Stackers members here with reasonable trading feedback. Anyone who deliberately sold fakes on here would be hung, drawn, quartered, sliced and diced. Then the members would jump up and down on the remaining bits to ensure correct levels of suffering and punishment. Anyone who sold a fake to someone without realising it would, im sure, refund or replace the offending item. A failure to do so would result in disaster for that persons trading reputation on here.
@spannermonkey - thanks it totally slipped my mind - also next time I'll check the sponsor list first next time. Thanks everyone for the good advice
Gold pelican - do I have to make an appointment to pop in or can I just stroll in? Like is it a bit of a retail?
Bullion Bourse always came through in the end but I found them unreliable as to time on a few occasions. Finally I blew a fuse at the excuses and emailed them with a sharp and frank rebuke, after which they never responded. As a result I stopped buying there. I don't know what it is - I got the impression from some posters here that they sometimes offer something that they order from the mint only when you have bought the item. If so, might help their cashflow but will result in delay if the mint delays their supply. I have since found the best way to buy small/medium amounts is often to use the sales threads here - never had a serious issue arise, and more fun. For bigger amounts I now shop at goldstackers or occasionally bullionmoney. Sometimes bigger amounts also crop up here on sales threads.
Don't buy silver from...? You have been warned. *edit* ---> (A mischievous play on the thread title only). FWIW, I have not bought from Bullion Bourse, but would not hesitate to do so.
Bought from bb numerous times. Never had a single prob. Super fast postage, lots and lots of communication. I will continue to buy from them in the future. They've even started to expand their stock to include RAM products and other collectables.
