I'm new here and I would like to sell some iTunes gift card my firend RD tell me to sell this for 10oz of silver 3 iTunes gift card cost $75 and I'm only 13 year old
Welcome, try the Goods for barter thread, I don't think you will get 10 oz of silver for $75 but it's good to do some research, do you currently have any silver?
Hi goldhunter & welcome do you have 3 gift cards worth $75 each ? or 3 cards worth $25 each & $75 total ?
Are you collecting silver to just look at and show your family? Are you looking to use it as an investment and hope it will be worth more in 10 years? Are you using it so that you don't waste your money on crap and save? (I know it can be hard as a teenager)
Ok thanks . I think RD made a mistake when he said it was worth 10oz of silver you will only get less than 2 oz hope that helped ...good luck
I think you need to get RD to weigh it for you & help you with your barter advertisment goldhunter. .I want you to get a fair price for your things so be patient get RDs help & see what happens when you have all the correct information
Welcome ... and good luck with your start to stacking. A good place to start is to look at the front page of W.Davis and son - it gives you a better idea of prices that are being asked for gold and silver. http://www.wdavis.com.au/ and select Silver products. Also check out the sales threads here - they are a great source of info. A good place to start your stacking may be to look for 1966 50 cent pieces (each contains 0.3416 oz silver) - they are currently selling for about $12 ea and are very liquid (can be sold again easily) - the best bit is they are all in used condition, so a few scratches or tarnish aren't going to devalue them, unlike other silver rounds. A generic silver round may cost about $36 - 38 per 1oz, while Kookaburra 1 oz silvers cost a little more ($40 - 50) because of their collectability. Best of luck .. if you have any questions ask away .. we are all more than happy to help. PS I agree fully with renovator - Dont rush into a swap until RD has checked it over first to make sure you are getting a good deal. PPS 14K gold is currently selling for about $31.60 per gram (W.Davis)
Good idea. Also, by white gold, do you mean platinum? And, hopefully it is not someone's heriloom (you said really old) ie: do you have permission to sell it? Just checking!
