No one said MCM is completely corrupted, just a few holes here and there that need to be plugged up. :0)

I make a lot of cheap buys from mcm. And never i have a problem. The last two coins i win in ebay ana pf70 for 210,50 and pf69 for 106 i win from mcm.
Allways make good purchases and im saying the ana pf69 from 150 to 105/110 prices. A lot of overbids. But when i have luck i win a bargains.
If mcm make cheat. They dont sell for 105/110 in pf69 a coin with issue price of 150/160 plus the grading costs.
I think the shill bidders can make it to up the prices to sell high in mainland china or in others places.

There arn't "both" coins. The coin offered has the SAME cert number. If they were different I would agree with you.

That was one instance, we could only form an opinion if there were a few more examples.

Stock pictures. Not all surprising with a big company like MCM.

E-coins and many others also use stock pictures.

What a surprise to see myself quoted from a different forum. I haven't had time to read through much of the Silverstackers postings...Did MCM respond somewhere on this forum to the specific issues I raised above? I'm trying to keep an open mind and just seek clarification when things don't appear to add up...In the interest of being as even handed as possible, some of these bid retractors seem to be active at other dealers besides MCM.

They are China Mint proof sets. These set were issued in very limited number from 1979 - 1986.

What is the cover color for both set? Any photos please?

Anyway, the 1981 set should fetch at the very least $500 (much higher if in nice condition) on ebay. 1982 should be $1000.

They are very collectible. If you are not in need of selling them, both set should proved to be a very solid investment.
