I think you're double dipping there.

    12 coins at $200ish each = $2400

    Or, 24oz at about $100/oz = $2400

I am definitely getting at least one of this Birds of Australia - Budgerigar 2013 1/2oz Silver Proof Coin. It's unfortunate that the RED-TAILED BLACK-COCKATOO didn't do that well. I am hoping the Budgerigar looks nice enough to boost the series.

I am also curious about this one: Four Seasons - Summer 2013 1oz Silver Proof Coin. I wonder what it is. The Lunar stuffs are a bit too expensive for me to go after.

Dragons came in many different colours. 9 coin set for example.

    Same for snakes perhaps?

I will definitely skip it. Too expensive! It seems that as soon as silver coins get boxed or combined in a set, price has to double! Absurd!

One day they will reduce or eliminate the packaging, claim a carbon credit, then charge you extra for the priviledge of doing so because they will be reducing postage costs and storage space. ;)

I'm no connoisseur when it comes to Perth Mint Coins but imho, they really dropped the ball with this years designs period.
To me, (the snake particularly) looks far to "cartoonish" when you hold it up next to a Dragon (or anything else for that matter).
All of above is just my view & I guess images on coins are just like any art (or anything for that matter).... The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :)
