Hi Have browsed this site for a while now as a UK stacker. I started buying in 2000 and remember complaining I was paying over 12 for a 1oz silver coin. Was being ripped off if I paid more than 105 for a 10oz bar. Would not touch a bullion grade sovereign if it was 60 or more. How they were the days. Did I make on my stack?? Sadly no I was very silly and sold the lot when I got married. I have had to put the good old days out if my head and stop with the what if scernerio as I buy in a totally new market. However even at these prices I believe there is room to secure against what is happening in the world. Got a lot harder to buy the metals at realistic prices and avoid the fakes. However when i put a deal together and recieve my parcel I feel kinda secure. Great site and look forward to joining in.
Welcome. I missed those days but my mum talks about the gold coins she used to get as Christmas presents from work when she was in the UK.
Thanks for the welcome guys. Was married life worth it.... No got divorced so came to my senses and re-building the stack.
