Hi All Just trying to look at a history of various asset classes priced in terms of each other (i.e. how many ounces of gold does it take to purchase a house over time, how many barrels of crude oil would it take to purchase the All Ords, etc) to get a better view of various asset cycles. I can see that this exercise has been undertaken from a US perspective (probably because metals, oil denominated in USD), however, are there any Australian sources with this information to compare local asset classes over time, including USD denominated metals and oil? I'm sure this exercise has been done before here locally but wasn't sure whether it was simply through getting raw data and building this yourself or whether there is something public already done. Cheers Zargor
there is someone on here who publishes it here monthly i think his/her name is "silver" you have to search for the thread a bit he compares the POG and POS to realestate, oil, farmland etc
