Is there a thread about this already? Drunk EBay buying. There should be!
I am now the sore headed owner of a 2nd hand coffee grinder from the US.. Postage cost more than the item.
I also bought a $380AUD 1996 1oz Ag MS69 U/C Proof Unicorn from same seller which I don't think I want to be shipped in the same parcel in case customs don't like 2nd hand coffee grinders.. I still may win many unique & interesting things I don't really want during the next 9 days..
If I gave you my list of "offers" , didn't win or outbid items you would think I was crazy but I was just drunk..
Need to instal a breathalyzer to my phone!
Think I'm still a bit drunk. I never noticed how loud my 5yr old boys voice is before.

Last year my drunk mate paid $13000 for a boat worth $6000. He's spent $3000 on repairs to it so far and its still only worth $6000.

I have another mate who paid $400 for a gold nugget that he never received. I told him several times that it looked like a scam (zero feedback and suss looking listing) but he went ahead and purchased and paid for it anyway. The scary thing is that he was sober!

You dont have to be pissed to make crummy decisions.

    Done that!

Either had to give up drinking or give up eBay.

I had bought something when I was drunk, saw the price as $29.99 ad thought WOW this is my day !!!

its so cheap, I can gift one to my brother, one to my brother-in-law and one to my mate, so placed an order for 4 of those only to realize the next day, price was $299.90......

this was when AUD was .80 to USD and I did not even receive two of the items.....

luckily missus had no idea what that $850 was for he he he

Yep, guilty. On a similarly embarrassing note, has anyone played an online game where you can buy bonuses ? And after the 2nd bottle of red you've just GOT to kick some poor hapless nerds ass? - even though s/he has never actually done anything to me? Even though we never did or will ever meet?

Ha Ha. An EBay regretful morning?

Last time I did that I ended up with a 1oz Norfed $20 coin that cost me $83 (inc postage from USA).

Earplugs arrived today, was a BIN, that was quick.
Thankfully I didn't win anything else - Chanel Sunglasses @ $330 scared me but they went for $349.
I think it will all be ok.
