FYI - more or less posted here already: http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-31024-dead-nevada-man-s-home-filled-with-gold.html
at 69 years of age , no descendants, no will, why would you stash 7 million anyway.. recluse and weird.
He was on of the first gold stackers. Once read on the internet about a man(think his name might have been Sorrensen) who did a like job on silver..Seems like he made heaps buying one penny shares and trading them. Profits were transferred into silver coins at the bank. Used to take home bags of silver from the bank and then he would empty them into a cellar. When he died, there was just so many coins that they decided to auction the whole lot instead of counting them..Estimates of the $ value ranged between $8 and $10 million. Have tried to google and on u tube but no luck so far..An interesting story just like the one ^^^. Maybe someone here can find a link? Regards Errol 43
9msn reports that the closet heir is a nephew or cousin?? i cant remember. and that the tax department may look to claim up to 75% of the gold depending on previous tax forms being filed properly. because they found conspiracy books, tins of food, guns etc, im guessing he skimped on some of the details.
