yes I have not been collecting the gold pandas very long but it seems the prices are rising espescially on the 1/0 oz coins, even the 80's coins seem to be getting higher priced, is this what other long time panda collectors are seeing as well and do you think it will continue?

If you compare the premium in the silver pandas with the bullion value and make the same with the goldies. A few months ago the goldies have less premium to bullion.
Now the premium go up but you can buy some at very good prices.
I only collect the silver but imbuy the goldies when i saw at good prices.

Just bought the 4 Blessings Medal set from ebay today. Cost me US$770.00 shipped. I have been eyeing this set for a long time but was not willing to pay the BIN prices on ebay. Xu Hong is asking $1890.00 for his OMP set and according to the description it comes with oxidation spots!!

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/China-1990-...1205410?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item3f1a1f67a2

Anyway from my research ,this set is supposedly very difficult to obtain in a high grade because of the relatively weak strikes.

Hahaha !!! It's a good thing we don't depend on you to catapult MCC prices to the next level !!! :D

A good buying strategy is patience and my good friend you are always the supreme "bottom feeder" for pricing and do seem to always get the lowest prices, I try to do the same as well.

Great job and nice prices !

Hey silverstar ! Yea you know that's my modus operandi is to come and go with random frequency :D

I stop in to read here and CCF at least twice a week but haven't had much to say. I'm still buying an occasional gold bear when I see opportunity and good pricing.

I've really been frequenting the boards at my other passion which is comic books (no not the funny kind) and I'm blown away how active that market is. Amazingly there are daily transactions of several thousands of dollars and at least several times weekly transactions of $30,000 or more. There are lot of Australians, Canadians and Europeans in that market as well. I'm very surprised by the board activity there as well whereas 1,000's are on the board daily.

I'm getting geared up for the big Wizard Con coming up in New Orleans, it's gonna be a huge fckn three day party !!!

But so yea I'm still loving MCC's as well my collection is to a point now where I'm still making purchases, they're just more selective.

Good luck on your collection man you already have some really nice coins [IMG]

Now is a hard time here. I try to buy cheap because the goverment make a new tax in the buys outside the country. We allways pay 50% tax. But now we pay 15% when you make the purchase and 50% more when enter the country. Argentine turn venezuela in a few months.
A crazy thing. Im only buying now australian coins because they charge 15% plus 23% and not 50%
