    Hey all,

Just wanted to let everyone who has been following my posts in regards to the 1998 5 coin Gold Panda set I acquired back in June. I sent them for NCS conservation and NGC grading when I was at the World's Fair of Money and just got the finalized scores today. I'm so happy with these scores and actually jumped out of my chair.

    Scores: 1998 1oz Large Date = MS69
    1998 1/2 Small Date = MS68
    1998 1/4 Large Date = MS69
    1998 1/10 Small Date =MS69
    1998 1/20 Small Date = MS68

Can't wait for my Pandas to return home and go in the Zoo! :)

Thank you my friend. I'm putting them away and will enjoy them for years to come. I was shocked when I got MS69 for the two large dates.

I think the MS68 1/2 oz probably is worth double what I paid for all 5 total.

Wow great result. Congrats. The population on the 1/2 and 1/10 is tiny. Interesting that you have a mixed small date/large date in the same set.

I have seen the 1/10 sell for more than the 1/2 or 1 oz:)

Currently the demand for 1/10, gold and platinum is very strong inside China. Apply to all the years.

Thanks all. Yeah 1/10's are in high demand. Should be even more so when the gold spot price doubles perhaps in the next few years.

I'm in for the long haul and will cherish this set for a lifetime

    Hi,

I was just wondering how long does Registered Mail take usually? I see the package was received in Sarasota,FL on Sept 10th and hasn't moved since then.
