    Actually it was sold for 2700 with best offer. Ebay & paypal fees were brutal :-(

    As usual, the CCF resident members are all over speculation - however, I can say at least two of these are legit - mine and the 2000 one - do not know about 1994 one. I can say this as these were bought by same buyer.

    yes in a way ,it was an 25th anniversary set produced in both silver and gold ,but by the china mint and a legal tender coin

    boston coin is a decent dealer ,you slip him a note he will save you the e bay fee,s:) ,he will haggle around with you, i bought some coins from him ,it was a good experience

    Is there a recognized small date for the 1997 1/2 oz?
    I thought only the 1995 had varieties assigned for the 1/2 oz.

    whoever bought it stole it,I never have seen one go that cheap ,that is not representitive of the market ,go try to buy Raw 2000GZ for 450 ,you cannot do it, people sell stuff all the time for less than fair value, buyer was smart enough to hit the buy it now button ,instead of placing an opening bid of 399 was not listed very long........ great buy wish i would have saw it:(

    Just asking, are those haze like thing acceptable for this coin? Or it is just the light reflection?
