Thanks Actually it was sold for 2700 with best offer. Ebay & paypal fees were brutal :-( As usual, the CCF resident members are all over speculation - however, I can say at least two of these are legit - mine and the 2000 one - do not know about 1994 one. I can say this as these were bought by same buyer.

2012 Silver Pandas on the rise? Set of 5 MS69s sells on ebay for USD$380.00!!! A few weeks ago it would have gone in the $250s... http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-5-Coin...+lkROm4Dazynpws7/K4WR3E=&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
^ That's good to see, although for $8 more, assuming you live in the USA because the seller won't ship abroad, you could get 5 x MS70 Early Release 2012 Pandas (JC8x8 will love the fact that two of them have the 'ghost panda' labels ) http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-5-Coin...2150800865467950099&pid=100011&prg=1005&rk=2&

Is there a recognized small date for the 1997 1/2 oz? I thought only the 1995 had varieties assigned for the 1/2 oz.
What is a fair price for a MS 69 Guangzhou Expo MS 69 panda? This experienced seller just sold one at a Buy It Now price of $449 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-China-...7148724?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item25759f10b4
whoever bought it stole it,I never have seen one go that cheap ,that is not representitive of the market ,go try to buy Raw 2000GZ for 450 ,you cannot do it, people sell stuff all the time for less than fair value, buyer was smart enough to hit the buy it now button ,instead of placing an opening bid of 399 was not listed very long........ great buy wish i would have saw it
