This economic crisis reminds me of that old folk tale 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf'
Each time these bozos in charge say the economy is recovering less and less people believe them.

Damn that stigma associated with borrowing more than you can afford. Now there's no drama in borrowing a lot more and completely sinking the country into the debt abyss.

Maybe there should be less Goldman Sachs technocracy and more bunga-bunga in italian politics. A dirty old man with rubber toys who is elected versus a filthy unelected technocrat cracking the whip of financial serfdom ... some great choices over there.

mmm....shiney - I had the same thought as you this morning when looking through the overnight activities.

Then I got to wondering - are they all buying again suddenly because they believe the news or are they buying cause they are worried everyone else will believe it, start buying and they will subsequently miss out on the gains - which obviously becomes self fulfilling?

Put Ruby the Heart Breaker in charge. That should stimulate the economy!

Listening to ABCNews radio this morning and apparently the announcement is the turning point for the Euro crisis. I say thank god again, I was really worried they'd never be able to come up with a solution. Now all that's left is to work on Lurkalot's problem with his missus.
