My profile image is not showing

I have uploaded my profile image. It does not seem to work..

What do I do?

 

Its usually to do with this restriction:

"An avatar is a small image that will be displayed under your username in your posts. It must not be any bigger than 90 x 90 pixels and 20,480 bytes (20 KB)."

I gave up trying to do it initially - too hard for the technically illiterate. I used a picure resizer application that you can freely download. Just google 'picture resizer free download'

Thank you for your help.. I will try to download it tonight. I have tried so many different pictures..... nearly give up now

Still not showing....

 

It's really strict about the 90 x 90 pixels

 

Just open it with paint (comes free with Microsoft) click on resize, then change the radial to pixels, and put in 90 in the HIGHEST value field. Then save it and upload it!

 

Paint was one of the things I tried and gave up on. Not as intuitive as specific image resizers, imo only

 

If you have skype I can help guide you, or just e-mail the pic to me and I will resize it and send it back. Click on the email link right under my name

Thank you for that... I don't have skpye in my work computer.. so if I can send you the picture, that will be excellent if you can resize it for me.

Make sure you are hitting submit after you go in and upload the Avatar, it should show it to the right of your screen after you upload it. If it doesn't meet one of the requirements it will say WHY it didn't meet it. I mean I can switch your avatar to show you it works on my side.

 

Try it again with my phone. I can see the pic has been uploaded. It shows in my uploads...but why it does not go under my name..mmmm

Ahhh there is the problem, scroll to the top, click on Profile, then on the left hand side click on Personality, then you can Upload an Avatar, click submit when done!
