have made a easy $500 profit over the last few days. There are two types of stackers:-

Those who do their due diligence and analyse prices

    Those who don't

I'd like for everyone to pause for just a moment, and give these two brilliant stackers a big round of applause. :D

Yay... clap clap clap... my hero... you're a hero!! clap clap clap... :D

I'm sure that you agree wholeheartedly with me, when I say that "I hope these two wonderful stackers can repeat this performance on a weekly basis, hereafter." That would bring in these two fellows a cool $26,000 profit per year, each, solely from silver stacker sales here on this forum.

clap clap clap... yay... and so say all of us... yay... :D

My father used to frequent the dogs, trots, casino etc. He had this theory based upon the assumption from one win that if he could just replicate it on a regular basis 4-5 days/week he could make in excess of $100k/year and would actually be enjoying himself at the same time. He would avidly follow this new selection method week after week.

I inherited 2 boxes of fishing gear and a 1/3 share in a BA Falcon from him when he died (bless his soul).

The top sheep wont be laughing when summer hits!
Also selling his jacket for a profit is smart by the bottom one. Kudos to him or her

I think you are right .. there are definitely two types of stackers and there are also two types of home buyer and two types of car buyer!

If the people that don't do the due diligence want to jump in the deep end, then that is their right. They will learn from their mistake eventually, and if not, then hopefully Darwin's Theory of Evolution will come to their aid.

Please don't make the stackers advertising their product at high prices to be those that are in the wrong when it takes two to tango.

I've increased my stack, as I do every month.
Due to the recent spot increase I'm paying 10% + extra for my snakes/kooks. Are you saying I've been fleeced?!

there is both an objective & a subjective component to this. the skinny looking sheep up the top was leaping for joy when he left the sheds, thinking it was the best thing that ever happened to him, shaking his head happily making baa'ing noises. the fat woolley sheep didn't say a thing, but all he knew was that winter was only a couple of months away.

Well it all reverts back to credibility and repeat sales. I'm well aware of a handfull of sellers on here that put simply, jam anyone willing to buy over priced bullion off them. The thing is people won't do it twice. Respected sellers on here get people coming back 5, 10, 20 times to buy. Have a look at all the loyal buyers on Maggie's feedback and then all the single purchasers on some of the other less experienced sellers.

Interesting to note people still measure their stack in dollars.

Be happy, in a few years it might be 'worth'

Measure your money vs commodities for value guys, not fiat dollars.

Talking bullion here, not numismatics. Not sure about everyone, but some folk can instantly fair spot market price, so its not as if they need to spend an inordinate amount of time checking this stuff.

Saw something in the sales forum a few days ago, and then checked to see how much I could buy it for myself, outside of SS. The fella made a cool $200 profit here selling easily available stuff. Another fella made $300.

If people want to get fleeced that's their problem. I have no problem with it, its just funny that lots of stackers will pay way more $$ than the common man off the street who knows diddly squat about bullion.

EDIT: I did mention in another forum here, recently, that I wouldn't name names (so don't ask), because I did not want to interrupt the shearing process.

You did notice the increase in spot didn't you?

There was 15x1kg pamps for sale @ $925 each which increased with spot but still sold. Is this what you refer to?
Spot + premium has always been my price, I think it's fair.

    My opinion.

    Whatevs.

If people want to buy bullion for a higher or lower price, so be it - thats the rule of the free market.

Remember a certain person a while ago who had the argument 'second hand bullion is only worth spot'. What a bloody idiot.

Same can be said for buying bullion way over a realistic premium. The difference is a respectable premium you can be expected to pay can be found with a little Due Diligence. I can only assume the person whom bought this either did not do said DD in acceptable premiums or there was another factor.

    Regardless - whatevs.

I'm always aware of spot price. Spot + premium is standard fare. All I say is that I could buy from a dealer, online, then & there (only a few days ago), for $500 less. If it was 15kg that was moved at these prices, profit would have been in the 1000s.

Yes, it was unfunkable. He sold two of those bags that absorb moisture.

Damn I wanted those bags of moisture absorbants and I have a spare $500 laying around.

As to the thread , yay stackers! or boo stackers! depending on which way it is going, sarcasm never really comes across well and not knowing the sellers or the buyers it is difficult to comment any other way.

I still don't get it and I'm getting nervous. I look like the last one to buy from unfunkable. I don't mind being fleeced as long as noone tells me.

Literal i know, but that shorn little sheep in the photo doesn't look like he's jumping around joyously to me.
