I'm not sure I'm reading it right or not, but the topic seems tells it.... anyone can confirm? http://www.perthmintbullion.com/Blo..._For_2013_Kookaburra_Silver_Bullion_Coin.aspx
I guess from this year and onward, not sure they will remint previous years. Well how know, they reminted some old Kook this year anyway to cap the original mintage.
Not sure what the Question is but yeah.. thats the mintage.. i wonder how smart upping the mintage is to coincide with PM flooding the market with back-dated kooks, id suggest this will limit the demand and put downwards pressure on this Kooks price.. id say the Koala is looking VERY VERY good for 2013 when compared to flood Kooks and hefty premium snakes (assumming a method of destroying the secondary market is thought up for this popular series also?) 1for1!
Sales figures for the 2013 The Australian Kookaburra $1 1oz Bullion Kookaburra Coin 2013 271,115 coins sold as of 08 January 2013 http://www.perthmint.com.au//docume...ra_Silver_Bullion_Coin_Series_1990_-_2013.pdf http://www.perthmintbullion.com/ima...kaburra-1oz-Silver-Bullion-Coin-Obverse-L.jpg
I hope sales stay low and they don't mint a lot before the end of the year. Down the road, I expect this design to be popular.
Just wait until we have the 2013 Kookaburra with snake privy Another 300K there or so to help dilute the mintage. Oops .. may have given the P.Mint design department an idea

^^ Bwahaha - like philatelic stamps issued from some third rate country Buy what's left of the now declared final mintage of old kooks. I refer to the remints, also called restrikes. Some of them are closed off at around 100,000 or less. Not you Holdfast, just others who haven't fully grasped this. http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-33294-perth-mint-mintage-policy-page-12.html
Na, na...include me! I have no idea of what's going on  My heart nearly exploded when you said philatelic stamps! That was my worst investment ever as a kid! lol
