    whats the best purchase ?? this week i am putting my latest order in for 1oz of gold and 50 - 60 oz of silver what would you buy AsE OR 2012 KOALAS ? thanks.

    The ASE doesn't change designs, I would go with Koalas.....

    If you're getting them for roughly the same price... Koalas hands down!

    Better premium potential, lower mintage, already in a protective capsule, just about as easy to liquidate, etc

    If you are in USA - buy ASE's.

    Koalas over ASE's if the premium over spot is the same. The ASE mintage will be about 40 million for 2012, the Koala perhaps 300k. Buy the one with lower mintage.

    Koalas - there is no question, i think if you are in US even more reason to go for the Koala cos they are kinda popular over there.. in aus not so much, but far more so than ASE's which are like the ugly step sister over here.

    300K 2012 Koala? Id say more like a million but the point remains that ASE's are mass produced like US$ so its a total no-brainer. Id say a time will come when even americans are sick of the sight of ASE's.

    For US citizens, ASE or Koala is a unique question.

    If you are buying to potentially maxmize premium, I would say Koala.

    If you are buying and ease of resale is a high priority, I would say ASE.

    If you are buying and privacy is a high priority, I would say ASE.

    I started with ASEs and then diversified.
