I have an intact slab of 1997 silver kooks (10) in the square capsules and i was just wondering how much these are worth. Would these attract a small numismatic premium or would they just attract standard prices? thanks

I would pay a premium for the slab itself - most people have never seem a conjoined slab. Often get 2s or 2x2s but 10 are rare.

They are not that rare - have seen them from time to time.

As the square capsules were not air tight, the coins will almost definitely be toned, unless the whole slab was stored in an air tight container of some sort.

There is no toning at all that i can see, and they have not been stored in an airtight container to my knowledge.

Could be wrong but I think 10 is the largest size they were sold in.

In Europe the 1997 Kook is one of the cheapest I.e standard price. Not sure if there would be a premium for co-joined plastic holders though.

I now regret breaking up the slabs I had. They were slabs of 1990's and considered the cheapest back in teh day, and were taking up too much space!
