Why do you guys keep posting these pictures of these AWESOME coins? . . . . ::sigh:: yes, I did just get it . . . .that looks freaking sweet.
Looking up their census stats and discovered NGC has separated these into at least 2 categories, regular and early release. This may be old news but it was a disappointing surprise to me. Regular: Total Graded: 47 Pop: 68 - 2, 69 - 38, 70 - 7 Early Release: 304 Pop: 68 - 10, 69 - 250, 70 - 40
The image on their website doesn't show it as the ER . . . http://www.moderncoinmart.com/cart1/product.php?productid=26340
The ER's might not be what you want.. in fact I'd suggest anyone buying any of these to examine them very carefully for shadow spots that could be the beginnings of WSOD (white spots of death). As I mentioned earlier, the first batches of these had problems with this.
I've ever seen Wutai gold coin on other websites, but i wasn't sure if they're genuine or not, so I didn't buy it. But frankly, they're really beautiful coins.
I didn't think I'd spend that much for a silver coin, but I love how it looks, the size, the detail and everything. I just might get one now for if only for what the heck.
A dealer in China submitted 50 coins for ER label. 68 - 4 (RMB 2050) , 69 - 44 (RMB 2580), 70 - 2 (RMB 3600). Quoted his selling price, and all 50 coins were sold within short time. http://www.coin001.cn/read.php?tid=16046&fpage=3
That's a great shot of the coin, it really shows of the stunning level of detail. But it's a shame, and it's only a minor thing, that NGC can't squeeze it into an edge view holder.
sweet, mine was delivered and is sitting at my office waiting for me to get back. I am just waiting to see what I am getting into! THANKS!
Panda America went up on their prices too. $320 U$D and a 2 week wait. Crying shame this didn't come out in a 5 oz silver.
