Hello everyone I was currently put in charge of selling a collection for a respectable gentleman who pulled these out of his safety deposit box where i believe they have been sitting since the 80s. Im discovering these may have value. I am thinking about putting them on ebay any suggestions?

Auction them here at Silverstackers, and save on the Ebay fees.

But you may need to send your items before receiving payment since you don't have any feedback.

    Where are you located?

I am in the US Florida specifically and no offense but i cant see myself shipping these out without receiving payment...I think ebay would be safer even though i have to pay 10%..

Yeah, Ebay might be the best place to auction them in that case.

PayPal protection for both people :)

PandaFan, it is no offense to you, it is just hard for someone to give someone else some money on these forums with them being brand new with no history. I just spend my time buying things on the forum until I build up some street cred before trying to sell some things. ;) It is just easier on here as ebay and paypal fee's suck.

i hear you and understand I don't really know a solution I am not buying coins I am in charge of selling this gentlemans coins and for me to send the coins out without recieving payment first is very unprofessional on my part. I can take pictures with my id next to the coins etc.. I would like to avoid the ebay fees and sell them here as well I just don't know the solution i can have the tracking number for whoever wants to buy it within 10 minutes but if i have to sell them on ebay I understand.

Panda, put it up for sale/auction here, and just put in the description to ONLY bid if you are comfortable with the terms you list, and then list out the terms. You could always PM your ID to the person if that is in your terms. Just make sure to list it out exactly and then if people are comfortable with that they may bid/buy your item. No one is saying you have to, just make sure you list the details as exact as possible so everyone knows what they are getting into. If you don't get the hits you are expecting, you can go to ebay and the only loss is maybe a day or two of waiting to see if anyone buys it.

I will not put them up on ebay until wednesday night my time US EST I will give members from this site a chance to make an offer first. I have a feeling i am going to go with ebay but it wont hurt to try here.
    Here are the terms.
Buyer must send payment first I am comfortable with paypal and would like to stick with that.
I can ship outside the US it is more expensive in shipping buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs.
Can't think of anything else at the moment.

Here is a picture that might help if you would like a picture with my ID let me know i will send it to you privately

That silver looks pretty, what is it? . . you want to do a whole list of what you have and what you want for it and then see what hits you get? Depending on the price and what they are I might be interested in a couple.
