Hi All, I have been lurking for a few days and have found things really interesting. I have bought a few maples, eagles and a couple of bars from the bay. I am looking forward to improving my knowledge and hopefully not getting stung. I live and work in Perthshire Scotland and I am at the time of life, where I want to save a few pounds for my retirement and recon this is an option for the longer term. I know the feeling, its been very wet down here. I know your part of the world very well, I was stationed at Kinloss for a short while and passed my driving test in Elgin. Good to hear about a group buy I would be keen on that. I have managed to get my eagles and maples from Germany which helps, but I know what you mean about ebay, finding a good UK supply is difficult and the VAT is a bit of a killer. I have a bit of a thing for poured bars and this is quite difficult in this part of the world.

Haha. Love it. Glen Morangie is my favourite (~$75 here), but Famous Grouse is probably one of the best cheapy's at around $30-$35, and the distillery tour was probably one of the better ones that I went to. If I lived around Speyside like yourself, I would struggle to stack as much as I do now.
