Would a 1 oz pamp 2012 lunar dragon bar be a good buy ??? Cost 1050 sterling. If not why and what would be better investment ???
Nothing wrong with them, but you pay an unnecessary (small) premium for something that is pretty and has the "dragon thing" attached to it. They are not limited mintage, nor heavily desired, so all you are buying it for is the prettiness when really, gold in this type of form is about ... gold. I own none of those but DO have the normal PAMP 1oz gold. Stick to coins with limited* mintages for dragons and the like. HTH! * But don't believe they are as limited as people might make out, including official mints, who will find ways to work around "limited mintage" ... do your homework on this forum and you'll see, especially if you search for "dragon" AND "privy".
Buy as close to spot as you can, don't get sucked into paying large premiums for anything Get a 1 Oz blob from the perth mint, they are liquid, low premium, common and easily storable Just my 2 cents
Tnx Lunardragon - I made it today from a black one I "found" (oops) online. Made it go gold & embossed etc while bored with Photoshop ... gotta do something while watching gold plummet (temporarily while we all buy as much as we can, just like our big banker "friends" hehe).
