Wow 2yrs of trying to sell it? If nothing else you have to admire his persistence. I never suspected for a moment that a NGC mistake could add value to a coin.. that would take buying the grade, rather than the coin, to a new extreme.
Anybody ever do any business with this au3000 fellow?? , he has some wacky high prices on some stuff, but he does seem to own one Huge inventory of graded gold sets, you look at his completed listings and he does not sell that many though.........completed listing dont mean much , some dealers just use e bay as an advertizing service and offers and deals are completed outside of e bay,any insight??
Oh yes most definitely Mr. Grizzlies and I honestly hope he sells this coin and his others at the prices listed ... it's good for the market and all of us !
$1675 is a great price. If you add the 2% ebay bucks and pay by Credit Card, you can't buy a 1oz maple leaf at that price. Congrats.
Was interested on eBay bucks as well, got this info from ebay FAQs Can anyone participate? Participants who: are legal U.S. or Canadian residents 18 years of age or older; have a U.S. or Canadian registration address tied to their eBay accounts and with an account in good standing (no holds or suspensions); and have a valid Paypal account or successfully signs up for one and such account is in good standing are eligble to join the eBay Bucks Program. http://pages.ebay.com/rewards/faq.html
One thing with ebay bucks that is BS is if it is listed under bullion no ebay bucks but the same coin listed in coins you get ebay bucks , on expensive coins it really makes a difference espescially when they have double ebay bucks days , oh well another genius idea from ebay!
Is this a 1995 small twig micro date? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
No. It is large date. Should read "small twig large date" - mislabeled by NGC. See this: http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/CertResults.aspx?CertNumber=3624226-029
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM interesting scenario ...........say I buy that coin at auction and pay a price based upon what is on the NGC label, and it winds up being a coin worth half as much ,NGC liable under their warranty??????? ............. interesting......................
110916321710 listing # NGC says coin is probably a fake and people are still bidding on it ,am I missing something here??
The coin looks rather odd, but for $18.50, I think it is a good buy. Genuine one cost few hundred dollars in this condition.
I dont know anything about these coins but the F is almost missing in "OF china", I guess NGC is just verifying that it is not varifiable , maybe it is a "variety"..
I just picked up this set of medals for US$8.00 shipped to Canada. $8.00 well spent? Don't even know if the seller is going to ship me the medals... http://www.ebay.com/itm/271018596405?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Sorry to say, but these are just toys - you will find loads of them in Ebay - there is a particular seller from China who lists so many of these, it annoys me as it clutters my search! However, it is only $8, so could be a good showpiece
