    Greetings from Malaysia.
    Im a painter and part time musician, love and appreciate artistic designs and craftmanship, which started my interest in coins.
    Great forum, hoping to learn more and make some friends here :)

    Wecare getting a nice 'international' flavour on the site, I hope you can tell us more about precious metals in Malaysia. What are your interests, just coins or precious metals in general?

    In Malaysia the PM market is not very big, but demand on bullion coins is starting to grow and hopefully does.
    I would say, from my humble opinion, for bullion, generally Perth mint products are very popular, followed by SAE, generic bars and so forth.
    Malaysia has its own official gold bullion coin which is the' kijang emas' or 'gold mouse deer' for collectors and investors, i think not many know about this coin.

    As for me, well i like to stack PMs if i could afford to :)
    At the moment im very interested in Chinese modern coins.

    Would also like to add that in Malaysia and Singapore, the Australian Gold Kangaroos are available from UOB bank, besides canadian maples, Singapore Lions and Pamp products.
    Gotto love the gold Kangaroos, very nice designs.
