is there such a thing minted accidentally in error? ... ahh according to this there maybe Apparently the 'rare' double tails are the result of mischievous staff Makes sense .
I asked the question to the seller thru ebay "has it been certified as original mint issue by coin dealer?" he responded "The certification I can give you is a man's certification, How much more do you want than I place my right hand on my heart and re-assure you it's genuine, I would not have touched it if it wasn't, Send it back to me for a full refund, no questions asked.serious everyone's so nervous now-day's that they can't see the forest for the trees.I assure you that you will be very pleased you purchased this coin, it will give you a heap of satisfaction, I'm just putting it on the market cause I've started to collect decimal polymer banknotesif you own some I'd be real happy to come to some arrangement. Serious, stand up from the crowd and buy yourself something you will be very proud of. Cheers.Ray " mmmm...............think I will pass

For what its worth i think youll find its a legit item. Theyer not a error but have to be willfuly made . i have heard that the AFP had confiscated such like coins when they stared to appear because they were 'willfuly made' and not machanical error. I have also been offered 2 x 5 cent coins with double reverse from seperate sellers last year but they wanted too much for them. They will only keep their premium as long as only a few surface.
only those who have wet dreams about 1930 (or whatever it is) penny would want this coin... personally i only like silver or gold 999... definitely a numismatic coin this double tails, and that is not for me that doesnt mean it isn't 'worth' such n such amount... eye of the beholder.
I don't like the thickness of the coin and the high rims on both sides. Having said that, mint staff have manufactured their own coins in the past so it may not be an error or mis-strike, but a deliberate creation. Before laying down any cash I would want this checked and a reputable dealer or RAM to say its genuine. I would also like to see the weight of the coin. Value ? Whatever someone is willing to pay but I think sellers price is on the high side. If it was $1000 to $2000, might be a good buy. Potential value ? Questionable in my opinion but if you have spare cash and want to gamble, why not.
That is one funky response. Does anyone know if the photo has been shopped? Can you tell by the pixels, and maybe having previous photograghic experience?
