Morning all, apologies - this has more than likely been asked before and done to death. Can anyone give me an executive summary on why Engelhard bullion is so desirable please? Engelhard bars are no longer produced. That helps with popularity. They were also produced over many years in many styles. Most types have unique serial numbers. That helps with collectability. Have several ameriocan prospector rounds but no bars. Would be nice to get an old poured engelhard bar but only if the price was right.
Engelhard Australia bullion is very popular with collectors but very difficult to find in North America. The 5 oz that sold for $386 on Ebay was one such bar.
