In your position I'd be buying more gold, until I had at least 5 ounces, then back to Silver.

I'm like you, too much silver, F all gold.

And when I think, oh yeah, I'll get that little quarter ounce of gold, I think of the big 10oz bar (and the rest) I could get in silver :(

What you are experiencing is the real difference between gold and silver, one is the promise of wealth the other is the hope! :)

GSR is 52:1 - 52oz of Silver to 1oz of Gold

So try keep your stack even if you can.

That said, stack what you enjoy collecting/investing in.

Also, it's much easier to store 10 oz of gold compared to 520 oz of silver, at least for me it is.

I like to think silver has alot more room to move so i stack mainly silver...I do have an ounce worth of gold tho, it is just so expensive :'(

    +1

Buy silver, wait for Gold and Silver ratio to change in my favour, swap some gold for silver to even out the stacks.

    Got it in one.

People who stack silver know gold is the better wealth store and want to be in gold eventually, they just think the ratio will close and so get more ounces of gold in the long run.

I'm silver heavy but I've been working on accumulating more gold it is expensive but in the year and a half I've been stacking its been the winner so far.

Only Silver IMO. If the ratio goes back to 15/16:1 over the next 5 years, which I believe it will, theres much more gain to be had. Plus silver is tight because of all its uses. Shes a ticking time bomb imo.

I like this argument, because it means less demand for gold.

Then when everyone wants to trade the gsr at the same time it will be interesting

Comment not directed specifically at you RM

I'm doubting it would be at the same time though.

Some people are obviously waiting for this "historic" :)lol:) ratio of 1:16 gold to silver, but then there's some like me who think 1:35-40 is a good ratio. Then you've got all the others in between.

This will mean the trade from silver to gold won't be as instant as you might think.

I sell my gold to get silver, silver is easy to put on the floor. gold is too small and got misplaced and went into the bin. :(

Lesson = don't put gold in the bin?

Portability is an advantage for gold.
