Anybody going to buy this thing here? Im not sure what my opinion of it is. It has no silver, is a quarter so it would be small. Any thoughts?
I've been buying some RCM products. The colored w/crystals and the series with Murano glass applications. I have no intentions of buying the glow in the dark dino. But it would be good as a gift for kids to get them interested in coin collecting.
Here is the link I try to buy one for my daughter. She like dinosaurs http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/dinosaur-25cent-coloured-glowinthedark-coin-2012-prod1290004
I think that coin potentially looks really great. I would love to see a real picture or video. I think I'm going to try to pick some up. ...even if it isn't silver. : (
Already selling on the "bay" for $50-60 U.S. + shipping! ...crazy. You can still order from RCM for $29.95 CAN
Just when you thought they had run out of ideas to peddle coins! If your kids like dinosaurs, buy them a plastic dinosaur, you can probably get ones which glow in the dark! This coin may be good for making small purchases after dark, but who looks through their coin album with the lights off?
That is the beauty of it. Now you can! I think I may buy some if there are still some available tonight. For me, coin collecting is about the fun aspect as well so I think that fits the category.
I got couple of them last night at $35 CAD. Now the price is $30 but the status is " awaiting stock Ships on 01-05-2012"
Yeah, its now out of stock. That was really fast. I am surpise that its all gone. Mintage of 25,000 and its gone. Not even a month after lanuch date.
Lucky enough to get 5. It will be a set of 4. Im looking forward to get all of them. I've loved dino since i was little.
I think this dinosaur coin is going to be worth as much as the The 2007 Nuthatch coin. Espescially when it's the first in the series of four.
Mintage of: 25,000 for the first coin in the four coin series. what do you guys think of the second coin's mintage level will be? I hope the second coin has a higher mintage than the first. They did this with the Silver 1oz glass ladybug (mintage of 5,000), and now the bumble bee 1oz silver has a mintage of 10,000. making the ladybug a 'hard to find' for those who want to collect the ladybug and the bumble bee as a set.
